Regionality in food means to source as much raw material from local and regional suppliers as possible, and to process food locally, too. Thus your food might even have been produced by people you actually know, which in turn creates trust in the quality and compliance of the production with current rules.

This is the aim of the regional label Eifel which has already bestowed its seal on a number of products.
