About us

In our Tea and Eifel Shop in the heart of Bitburg we offer a great variety of loose, high-quality tea by Florapharm - uncontaminated herbal products - as well as tea accessories.

We also serve snacks typical for the region and cake, to go with your cup of tea.

A rich selection of regional products like wine, honey from own production, aromatic oils, sausage products and cheese as well as cycling jersey and walker's accessories with the Eifel logo complete our service.

We're part of it, too: Our honey meets the quality criteria of the regional Eifel label.

  • traceable product origins in the natural area Eifel
  • a high quality level
  • consumer-oriented transparency

We also offer products from the workshops of the European Vocational Training Centre (Euro-BBW), hand-made by our apprentices and staff members. These comprise for example bird boxes, smaller items of furniture or seasonal products like "Osterklappern" (Easter rattles, a feature characteristic of the region).

For the Tea and Eifel Shop also is a Euro-BBW inclusion project! Vocational training centres like the Euro-BBW enable young people with disabilities to gain an initial vocational training as well as vocational orientation.

Not only are our apprentices in retail able to perfect the friendly and service-oriented way of serving customers here which they will need during their later career - but many other training departments of the Euro-BBW do their part in maintaining the rich variety of products in the Tea and Eifel Shop. Cakes and cookies as well as herb salt, jam and other delicious foodstuffs are made in our home economics training area. During spring and summer we also sell plants from the Euro-BBW greenhouses - a place of learning for future gardeners. All print products which we use for advertising our shop are made by our media deisgn apprentices. Rehabilitants from our job preparation department produce our delicious honey, guided by staff members who are trained beekeepers. Apprentices in our joinery build furniture and accessories made of wood which are then actually sold and used. Thus our trainings are no practise projects, out of touch with reality, but gain the nature of a training true to life.

With your visit of our tea room and shop, you're helping young people making their way in life. And you can cuddle yourself with a cup of tea or have a look at our attractive gift articles at the same time!
